Renowned Nigerian singer and dancer, Korra Obidi, has shed light on her decision to publicly confess to cheating on her estranged husband, Justin Dean. In a candid interview with News Central, Obidi explained that her honesty stemmed from a desire to avoid living with the burden of a secret, emphasizing that the confession brought forth significant revelations.
Obidi, a mother of two, disclosed in a 2022 interview that she had been unfaithful to her husband while residing in Nigeria before eventually relocating to America to be with him. Despite facing criticism for her admission, she expressed no regrets, asserting that the transparency led to the revelation of various truths.
In her own words, "If I had not said what I said, if I had not come through with my truth, it wouldn't have brought out all the truths that came to light. And we would have been living in a lie to please the public. How long can you do that?"
Obidi clarified that she was not bound to a commitment of exclusive fidelity before moving to America, and openly admitted to exploring relationships outside her marriage. While facing backlash for her openness, she remains steadfast in her choice, stating, "I would never regret saying I was having commitment issues before I came to America.
