The acclaimed movie star made history as the first Nigerian filmmaker to earn over a billion naira in cinemas last month. She has embraced her groundbreaking success.
Funke's latest film, A Tribe Called Judah, has surpassed 1.4 billion naira in earnings around ten weeks after its December 15, 2023 release. This cements its status as the highest-grossing Nigerian movie ever.
The movie has undoubtedly won the hearts of many across Nigeria and beyond.
Responding to the achievement, Funke stated on social media: “Thank you!!! To all the young ladies out there, just know that you can also achieve success. Remain focused and keep working hard.”
